Product description

Want a healthy food reset, detox and a whole week off cooking and shopping before the Summer break? Then this could be the answer...

This five day diet (based on the Fast Mimicking Diet/FMD) was developed by Professor Valter Longo. I have based the recipes and ingredients on his principles.

The 'rules' for the FMD week, according to Valter Longo, are:

  • Day One – 1100 calories
  • Days two to five – 800 calories
  • You should confine eating to a 12-hour period e.g start after 8am, end before 8pm
  • Don't eat within three hours of bedtime
  • Drink plenty of water and can also have black tea, coffee, herbal teas etc.
  • You can find out more about it at https://valterlongo.com/fasting-mimicking-program-and-longevity/

  • It comes  in sealed containers which are microwave proof and 100% recyclable.
  • Day 1 menu totals 1100 calories (400 lunch, 600 dinner and 100 snack) and then it's 800 calories a day (lunch 300, dinner 400, snack 100) for the next four days
  • All meals are vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free but do contain nuts.
